Adding the phone number

Configuring a phone number

• Click on 'API Setup' under 'WhatsApp' in created App

• Go to 'Step 5' & click on 'Add Phone Number'

• Configure following details & click 'Next'

  • WhatsApp Profile Name - Name configured here will appear to your customers

  • Timezone - Select the timezone your business is located in

  • Category - Choose the industry your business is in

  • Business Description - Provide brief about your business

• Add number on which you would like to get WhatsApp Business APIs & click 'Next'

The number should not have active WhatsApp account

• Enter the confirmation code received on the configured phone number and then click 'Add Number' to configure the APIs to the number
